The average short term rental in Frisco currently rents at $225 a night and holds a 64% occupancy rate, and will gross about $4,500 a month. A home purchased for $400k with 20% down equates to roughly $2,300 a month in loan payments (20 year 6% fixed). This leaves great potential to earn monthly income, gain appreciation, while taking advantage of tax benefit of depreciation.
